Carpentry
Where is your carpentry workshop?
We have a in-house carpentry workshop in Singapore, more precisely 81 Kaki Bukit Avenue 1, just above our showroom. Make an appointment to visit our showroom and we will give you a tour.
We also have a large, fully automated factory in Guangzhou. This is where our Oppolia carpentry is manufactured to offer more precision, better quality and exclusive material options.
What finishes do you offer?
Our traditional carpentry is essentially either in high pressure laminate or wood veneer. But thanks to our partnership with Oppolia, we also propose lacquer, power-coating, spray painting, thermofoil / PVC, PU and melamine. We also have a beautiful range of wardrobe accessories, kitchen accessories, kitchen appliances under our own brand. That's the power of Oppolia by HomeShake.
Can we customize your cabinets?
All our products are customizable. As a matter of fact, everything is designed in-house by our own team, who has an in-depth understanding of both traditional carpentry and imported Oppolia solutions. That's how we can ensure our cabinets meet your actual needs and expectations.
Bespoke Furniture
What do you need to quote?
Price is a function of design, dimensions and materials. Best is to share a reference photo or a quick sketch of your project, and indications in terms of dimensions. If you want to use wood veneer, solid timber, laminate or another material, just let us know. We can quote for several options.
Do you work with solid wood?
We work with solid timber and we have our own stock of Nyatoh, Ash and Teak. Of course price varies: solid nyatoh is the most affordable option, while Burmise teak is the most expensive one. We have samples available in our showroom.
Can I customize the colour?
Our painter can follow our standard range of wood varnish, but he can also try to match your preferred colour. In that case, we make a colour sample with 2 options and let you decide. All our bespoke furniture pieces are varnished by hand in our workshop in Kaki Bukit. We can also spray paint. Visit our showroom for more info.
Home Renovations
How long does it take to renovate a flat?
For smaller projects like new BTOs and new condos, you can expect 2 months of work from keys collection.
For full renovation projects like resale flats and landed houses, it takes in average 3 to 6 months.
We recommend all clients to contact us at least 3 months before keys collection. This is to ensure that we can work on 3D drawings, materials selection and various options without being pressed by time.
Do you also help with layout and design, or just renovation works?
We have a design team who handles everything from internal layout to technical drawings. If clients have a clear idea of what they want, we go straight to modelling. If not, we work on a mood board and propose several concepts. You can vizualize online our full-house renovation concepts for inspiration.
How much does it cost to renovate a flat?
We have clients who just order a few carpentry items, with an overall order below $10K. On the other hand, for a full renovation project including masonry works, you need to expect minimum $70K for HDBs up to $300K for landed houses. Best is to contact us directly to have a detailed, itemised pricing estimation.
Warranty
How long is your warranty?
We offer a 5-Year Warranty on all carpentry, countertops, hardware, doors, door jambs, basins, shower screens, bathtubs and faucets. It goes up to 2 years for bed frames and 10 years for mattresses.

What does your warranty cover?
The warranty covers defective components under normal use, service and maintenance. It also covers defects occurring during the installation by our team. It is not transferrable to the subsequent owner.
I have a problem, who should I contact?
You can contact us directly via WhatsApp or email. You just need to list specifically what the defect is. We will probably need to schedule a site inspection with our team to assess and accept the claim. The whole process usually takes 1 to 4 weeks.

Online Orders
Is there a minimum order for online purchases?
There is no minimum order. We will process all orders regardless of the number of items.
How do I pay for my purchase?
We accept a variety of payments including PayPal, MasterCard, Visa and American Express cards. If you prefer to use PayNow, you can also contact us over WhatsApp and we will arrange a QR code for you.
Do you charge taxes?
All of our prices are inclusive of GST. No additional taxes will be charged.
What are my delivery options?
We have our own fleet of lorries and arrange deliveries in-house. For most orders, delivery is free, but if you are in a hurry, you can also request for pick-up at our workshop 81 Kaki Bukit Avenue 1.
How soon can I receive an order?
If your item is standard and in-stock, we will deliver the next day. If it is customized or out-of-stock, it may take a few days. In any case, we will contact your directly over WhatsApp to arrange delivery. If you are in a hurry, best is to contact us before you place your order to make sure we can deliver in time.
Plywood Cut-to-Size
How long does it take to deliver after placing the order?
Once the order is confirmed, we need an average of 2 to 3 days to cut-to-size and deliver your plywood. We deliver everywhere in Singapore. We use our own fleet to arrange deliveries so lead time is pretty short. Feel free to give us a call or contact us over WhatsApp if your order is urgent.
Can you confirm this is solid plywood, not just MDF?
We get this question a lot. Yes, this is solid plywood, not block board, not MDF. We can also source composite woods, but for DIY projects we recommend solid plywood, especially 18mm thickness for shelves or table tops. That's why our best seller is solid plywood in furniture grade quality.
Is it possible to have it painted or laminated?
This product is just about simple raw plywood, but we can absolutely overlay high pressure laminate or paint it with emulsion or spray paint. Additional charges apply for these services. Best is to contact us directly over WhatsApp or the chat function, and we will quote for your project.
Do you get it cut in your workshop?
Yes you order will be prepared in-house by our team of carpenters. We also sand off the edges before preparing for delivery. All cuts are made using our table saws with a cutting tolerance of +/- 1.5mm.
