What's HomeShake?

HomeShake is a Singapore-based carpentry specialist and renovation contractor, established in 1972, specializing in custom carpentry, bespoke solid wood furniture and premium Oppolia cabinetry.

What services do you offer?

We design and manufacture custom wardrobes, kitchens, storage cabinets, TV consoles and solid wood furniture, with an in-house workshop and showroom in Kaki Bukit.

We are also the principal dealer the brand Oppolia in Singapore, offering premium customized cabinetry with formaldehyde-free / E0 materials, advanced manufacturing, premium hardware and extensive warranty coverage.

Beyond carpentry, we manage complete renovation projects with our own team of artisans. This includes demolition, masonry works, electrical, plumbing, painting, windows, architectural doors and so on.

We work directly with homeowners but also as a subcontractor to interior designers, across HDB flats, condominiums and landed properties.

Do you have your own workshop?

We have an in-house carpentry workshop with experienced carpenters, spanning several levels, in our building at 81 Kaki Bukit Avenue 1. All our solid wood and wood veneer carpentry is still manufactured in Singapore.

We also carry the brand Oppolia and its extensive range of low emissions, E0 materials, formaldehyde-free green panels. Such cabinets are designed in Singapore and manufactured in Guangzhou, China, using state-of-the-art HOMAG CNC machines.

Do you do lamination or solid wood?

We have the chance to offer both traditional carpentry in solid wood and modern finishes like melamine.

Most of our projects are using formaldehyde-free, E0 certified green panels. This is not achievable with lamination and glue, which have high VOC emissions. Instead, we use advanced machinery and modern finishes including melamine, thermofoil, PET and lacquer. This allows us to cater to most design trends in Singapore, especially Minimalist & Japandi concepts.

We also offer solid wood and wood veneer carpentry, thanks to our in-house carpentry workshop. We allow our clients to choose their preferred wood and varnish colour. This is perfect for Scandinavian and Mid-Centry home concepts.
